Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Travel Blog

There is a Private Game Reserve about 20 minutes from Victoria Falls where you can see the Big 5 (buffalo, rhino, elephant, leopard, lion). This is different than Chobe Desert because they do not have rhino so I was very excited to see rhinos for the first time! You can book a rhino search safari where they will track the rhinos so you have a better chance of seeing them.

I stayed at Victoria Falls Backpackers in an ensuite room. It was only about 50USD. The lodge was very nice. It has an outdoor pool and isn’t far the falls. At night, I hung out at Shoestrings Backpackers. There you can have a drink while sitting by the pool and listening to music. Just be careful if you decide to walk, as wild animals are roaming. https://uk.hotels.com/ho574291/victoria-falls-backpackers-victoria-falls-zimbabwe/

Boma Dinner and Drum Show. The Boma is open for dinner daily at 7PM. There is non-stop entertainment from the moment you are ceremoniously dressed in a chitenge. There is traditional dance performances, face painting, a fortune teller, and of course a drum show. There is an all-you-can-eat buffet that is absolutely delicious!
